Synopsis
A period psychological thriller and the prequel to The Line. Set against the real history of covert CIA LSD experimentation in 1950s Montreal, it follows Dr. Elias Varin — a psychiatrist undone by grief and seduced by the promise of transcending the human ego. As his research blurs the line between science and delusion, he creates a monster in his patient and, ultimately, within himself.
